Google Calendar Find Event

Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a small, disclosed Google Calendar search helper that uses the local gog CLI and does not include hidden code, persistence, or unrelated behavior.

Install this only if you are comfortable letting an agent query Google Calendar through your configured gog CLI. For vague requests like 'check my schedule,' the agent should ask for a date range or subject before accessing calendar events.

Vulnerability Patterns
  • Skill Instruction HijackingAlters the agent's session goals or safety constraints when the skill loads
  • Agent Memory PoisoningWrites attacker-controlled rules into memory that affect later sessions
  • Remote Payload Retrieval and ExecutionFetches external code whose behavior can change after review
  • Embedded Malicious CodeShips malicious scripts inside the skill and executes them locally
  • Unauthorized Access and Privilege EscalationObtains permissions beyond the task's legitimate needs
Vulnerability Patterns
  • Trigger AbuseOverly Broad Trigger, Shadow Command Trigger, Keyword Baiting Trigger
  • Prompt InjectionInstruction Override, Hidden Instructions, Exfiltration Commands
  • Data ExfiltrationExternal Transmission, Env Variable Harvesting, File System Enumeration
  • Privilege EscalationExcessive Permissions, Sudo/Root Execution, Credential Access
  • Supply ChainUnpinned Dependencies, External Script Fetching, Obfuscated Code

Finding

The invocation condition is broad enough that an agent may trigger this skill for loosely related requests such as general scheduling questions, which can cause unnecessary access to calendar data. In a skill that queries a sensitive personal data source, ambiguous routing increases the chance of over-collection or disclosure of event metadata beyond the user's precise intent.
