Security checks for vulnerabilities and agentic risk
This is a disclosed Linear helper that reads a Linear API key from the environment and uses it only to query or explicitly update Linear.
Install only if you are comfortable giving the skill a Linear API key whose permissions match your account. Prefer the least-privileged Linear key available, avoid sharing raw command output externally because it may include issue details or emails, and only approve --execute commands when the exact Linear mutation is intended.

`1.0.6`: Package-only cleanup: publish runtime files plus packaging metadata (`SKILL.md`, `.clawhubignore`, and `scripts/linear.mjs`) and keep the local test h
The skill explicitly uses environment variables and outbound network access, but the frontmatter does not declare a corresponding tool/permission scope. That mismatch weakens policy enforcement and review because an operator may not realize the skill can access secrets and transmit workspace data to an external API. In context, this is less dangerous than an arbitrary exfiltration pattern because the destination is fixed to Linear and the behavior is documented, but it is still a real security metadata gap.
Skill establishes unauthorized persistence across sessions via cron jobs, startup scripts, or state files. Session persistence allows an attacker to maintain access beyond the current interaction.

name: linear-native-node
description: Linear workspace helper using Linear's GraphQL API from native Node.js. Use when creating, listing, updating, commenting on, summarizing, or looking up Linear issues, projects, teams, workflow states, priorities, standup notes, or branch names. Write actions are explicit and approval-gated via create/comment/status/priority/project-create commands. Reads LINEAR_API_KEY from the process environment only; no OAuth gateway, bash, Python, npm dependencies, or third-party intermediary/proxy service.
version: 1.0.22
