Security audit

github-image-hosting

Security checks across malware telemetry and agentic risk

Overview

This skill is a clearly documented helper for uploading GitHub-related images to a public image host, with the main risk being accidental upload of sensitive screenshots.

Install only if you are comfortable with agents uploading selected images to a public third-party host. Before upload, confirm screenshots do not contain credentials, internal systems, customer data, or other private information, especially because small uploads are described as permanent.

Finding
The trigger text is broad enough to activate on generic image-related requests such as 'screenshot this' or 'attach an image,' which may occur outside the intended GitHub-only context. Because this skill uploads content to a public third-party host with no auth and often permanent retention, over-triggering can cause unintended disclosure of sensitive screenshots or internal visuals.
